A little about us...

Redline Pharmacy opened in January 2003 as a compounding only pharmacy. We are independently owned by Tim Redline, PharmD (UNMC '97) and Hilarie Redline, PharmD (UNMC '01).  In 2005 we became part of the Vital Care network of home infusion pharmacies.  Through our Vital Care affiliation we also offer comprehensive IV infusion and enteral nutrition (tube feeding) formula and supplies. Our philosophy...

We recently updated our rotation experience to make it beneficial to everyone involved (you and us). We understand that you are paying your college for this experience and want to make it as valuable as possible.  From our perspective, we are taking care of patients and running a business so we need to be sure that we are able to continue to do this while you are here.

To accomplish this we have created a self-learning notebook with information and articles on various topics related to compounding and home infusion pharmacy. You will be given time to read these articles during the day but you may need to read after hours as well to keep on track.  This will give you a solid foundation to start from so that you will know much more about what we do as things come up.

This will be a hands-on rotation. You will become part of our team for the time you are here and do most everything that we do.

We want your rotation experience here to be a fun and valuable one and will do all that we can to make that happen.

Nuts and bolts...

• Location
  
• Hours: 9-5 Monday through Thursday. 8-5 Friday for team meeting (may vary but not by much) You may also spend a few hours per week outside of this for required reading
• Lunch: You will have a 1 hour lunch break each day
• Flexibility: We are very flexible when it comes to the schedule as long as we have advanced notice
• Housing: Housing is available at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital nursing dorm.  The apartment style dorms offer a cooking facility, free washer and dryer, and a computer lab with 3 computers.  The cost is $175 for 1 month which is all inclusive.  For more information or to reserve a room, contact Barb Hanson at 402-463-2489.
