Frequently Asked Questions

Scheduling & Visits

What should I expect at my paid consultation?

Your initial consultation is where everything comes together. By this point your lab work is already complete, so our pharmacists can spend the full appointment reviewing your results with you in plain language, connecting them to your symptoms and health history, and working with your provider to build a personalized plan based on what your body is actually showing us.

What's the cost for the paid consultation?

The initial consultation is US $129 plus the cost of any testing you may require.

What Are The Restrictions On Virtual Visits?

While we prefer to see you in person, we realize this isn’t always possible. Consultations can be done by phone or secure video

Email Etiquette

Patients have unlimited email access with our Redline Compounding Pharmacy provider team. However, if an email question or request is deemed by one of our staff to be too complicated or involved for a response via email they may, at their discretion, require that the patient schedule a phone, telemedicine or in person visit instead of responding via email.

Billing & Insurance

Payments

We utilize a secure payment processor and allow you to be in control of your payment methods. The processor is called Tabz and you will receive a secure payment link via text message. Through this portal you can save credit card, debit card, HSA or FSA cards for payment of services.

Insurance Billing

We are not able to bill consultation and lab test fees to your insurance. We will attempt to bill any prescriptions to your insurance company and will notify you of coverage status and expected cost prior to filling.

About Lab Tests

Most lab tests ordered by a Redline Compounding Pharmacy team member will be billed directly to the patient.

The specific tests ordered will be personalized to you based on your initial evaluation with a Redline Compounding Pharmacy team member and may include blood, saliva, urine, or stool testing.

We will make every effort to make you fully aware of any additional lab fees that may be incurred and to give you the opportunity to choose which lab tests you feel comfortable paying for.

You are under no obligation to purchase any specialty testing.

Should any lab results indicate you may need further testing you will be directed to continue your care with your primary care physician or a relevant specialist, or should you choose you may continue to work with the team at Redline Compounding Pharmacy.

At home test kits: If a lab test kit is mailed to you by Redline Compounding Pharmacy, you will be charged before the kit is mailed.

Additional Concerns

Is This Approach Worth It?

If you have been dealing with chronic symptoms that never quite get explained and you are ready for a more thorough, personalized approach, this is a good place to start. Through advanced lab testing, compounded BHRT, targeted nutritional support, and lifestyle guidance, we work alongside your provider to address what is actually driving how you feel, not just how to manage it.

The first step is a hormone assessment so we have a clear, objective picture of where your levels are and where the gaps are. From there, we recommend staying with the process for at least six months. Hormone balance takes time, and building the lifestyle habits that support it long term takes time too. The patients who see the most meaningful results are the ones who give the process the space it needs.

How Do The Therapies Work, Supplements & Lab Testing?

We know you have likely had lab work done before, and we never want you to repeat testing unnecessarily. If you have existing results, bring them. Our pharmacists will review what you have and determine whether additional or more specialized testing would give us a clearer picture before your consultation. If it would, we will let you know the cost before anything is ordered. As your plan comes together, we may also recommend compounded medications or targeted supplements. We will explain what each one is, what it is intended to do, and what to expect cost-wise, so nothing comes as a surprise.

What Should I Expect From My Discovery Consultation?

During the free discovery consultation, we’ll determine whether partnering with our team is the best next step for you.

We’ll go over any questions you may have about our approach, understanding hormone health and how it differs from what you’ve tried before, so you feel comfortable about the journey ahead.

We may also suggest affordable testing to assess hormone levels such as progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol, insulin and thyroid hormones to craft a personalized approach.
