01 Jun Fertility – Heartache and Help
Society expects women to prevent pregnancy when it is not appropriate, but these same women are expected to achieve pregnancy as soon as it is convenient. Unfortunately, many women struggle with becoming pregnant and maintaining pregnancies. The theories for the rise in infertility are many; ranging from hormone exposure in the environment, poor nutrition, low body weight, low body temperature, obesity, etc.
Many women struggle quietly waiting monthly to find out if they are to be disappointed again and deal with the sadness and doubts that recur. It is a difficult decision to decide to pursue infertility treatments, either Clomid or IVF (In-vitro fertilization) or IUI (Intrauterine insemination). Before crossing these lines it is reasonable to verify that a woman’s hormones are balanced and not responsible for anovulation, irregular cycles or early miscarriages.
