Home infusion therapy is a form of therapy that involves administering medications, fluids or nutrients directly into a patient’s bloodstream. At Redline Specialty Pharmacy, we don’t require you to come to our clinic in order to receive your IV medications, as our nurses can administer your infusions from the comfort of your own home. Or in some cases, you are taught give your medication to yourself giving you even more independence.
Home infusions start with one of our infusion nurses visiting your home to set up the necessary equipment and provide training on the medication. From there, our nurses will set up a schedule with you to receive your infusions, based on the dosing schedule provided by your healthcare provider.
