Your Specialty Pharmacy for Psoriasis Care

Your Specialty Pharmacy for Psoriasis Care

August is national Psoriasis Awareness Month. We recently received Specialty Pharmacy accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC). This accreditation supports our ongoing commitment to high quality care for patients with specialty medication needs, including those with psoriasis. Specialty medications are defined as requiring special storage, special administration and training, are usually injected or infused but may include oral medications.

The treatments for psoriasis have increased over the past several years and include many biologic medications. Biological therapies target a specific part of the immune system thought to play a role in psoriasis. Medications include:

  • Cimzia (certolizumab pegol)
  • Enbrel (etanercept)
  • Humira (adalimumab)
  • Remicade (infliximab)
  • Simponi (golimumab)
  • Simponi Aria (golimumab)
  • Stelara (ustekinumab
  • Cosentyx (secukinumab)
  • Siliq (brodalumab)
  • Taltz (ixekizumab)
  • Orencia (abatacept)
  • Ilumya (tildrakizumab-asmn)
  • Skyrizi (risankizumab-rzaa)
  • Tremfya (guselkumab)

As a specialty pharmacy, we work with you and your healthcare provider to get insurance approval, help with covering out of pocket expenses, coordinate training or administration and provide ongoing clinical support to monitor for potential side effects.

If you use an injected or infused biologic medications for psoriasis (or other condition), we would love to be your local specialty pharmacy and help you with your treatment. Contact us to find out how easy it can be to transfer your specialty medication.
